Telecom operators are slowly stepping in with aggressive plants to counter Relaince Jio.The latest to join the bandwagon was Bharthi Airtel which announced two free voice caling Apps Rs145 and Rs 345 that come with substantial data benefits.
The move comes days after BSNL announced unlimited calling plan for Rs 149 to its customers.Earlier Vodafone announced Rs 24 data pack named "Bada data Chota price" plan after the announcement made by Mukesh Ambani regarding the extension of "Welcome offer" by another 3 months calling it as "Happy New year offer".
Rs 145 allows subscribers to avail free local and national Airtel-Airtel calls with a validity of 28 days. Users can also avail 300 Mb data with this plan
Rs345 allows users to make unlimited local and national calls to any network. Users can also avail 1 GB 4 G data with a validity of 28 days. For mobile phones suited for web browsing and light social media applications will get an additional 50Mb data with this pack. Airtel also made it clear that pricing of prepaid packs is not fixed all over India and varies from circle to circle.

It is very much awaited how these new plans impact Reliance Jio which recently surpassed 52 million subscribers.
