A bizarre situation took place in the shamshabad airport in Telangana state. It was raining cash from Atm machine situated in the Airport. The ATM dispensed Rs 500 for Rs100. This incident happened with Kotak Mahindra bank ATM situated in the second Gate of the Airport entrance. When a person entered Rs. 2500 for withdrawal ATM machine initially dispensed one Rs. 2000 note.Instead of five Rs 100, notes the ATM dispensed Rs 2500 totaling the amount to Rs. 4500.
The incident spread like wildfire and more people started to withdraw cash in the same manner. Likewise, the situation happened for 40 minutes.Then the airport officials took notice and informed the Bank employees and made to close the ATM temporarily.Airport and Bank officials are expecting that around Rs. 8 lakh cash would have been withdrawn from the ATM. Bank officials attributed the failure of ATM machine might have happened due to technical problems.
