Andhra Pradesh public service commission (APPSC) has extended the last date for receiving Applications for Group 2 posts till December 15.Due to technical problems that arose in APPSC website the candidates has faced lot of difficulty during Application procedure. Although, APPSC has estimated around 7.5 lakh applications, only 2.5 lakh applications are received until wednesday.
This may be attributed to the problems faced by candidates during Onetime profile registration (OTPR).Also record number of OTPR's have been registered during the release of notifications as a result Server load increased drastically leading to technical problems.
Keeping in view of the problems, APPSC chairman Uday Bhaskar along with Secretary YVSC Sai organized a meeting with AP Online members to review the situation.They felt that time will not be sufficient for all the candidates to apply for Group II with in the scheduled time limit of December 10.So far until thursday 4 lakh applications have been uploaded. So the APPSC secretary has issues a statement saying that the last date has been extended till December 15.
No Negative marks for Group-II exam
UdayBhaskar also clarified on the negative marks issue. He explained that, Since the Group II notification has already come, there will be no negative marks . He further said that APPSC will issue notification for Group 1 and Group 3 by the month end, and both these exams carry negative marks.
